Travis front man Fran
Healy returns to Southern Sudan, one of the most underdeveloped
parts of Africa. His second trip with Save the Children
in six months, he travels to areas with no cities, no
schools, no hospitals and no roads. Even finding safe
drinking water is extremely difficult for a large proportion
of the population. However, Fran is overwhelmed by the
strength and resilience of the people he meets.
With international aid firmly on the political agenda,
Fran visits this often neglected and misunderstood country
to see how the area can rebuild itself after a long
running civil war. |
